We turned on the HVAC, it ROARS. I am now on Ambien because I cant sleep to the noise of the HVAC.
I have learned many people are stuck in their homes. They can't sell their homes because there is very little turn over, so yeah, if you are able to sell a home through Key South congrats, and I understand your 5 star review...
We opened the curtained, and POOF, they rained down paper dust as if they hadnt been opened in years.
I had to go to the Remax office to get the key the day of move in, because the ones they gave me didn't work. After unearthing a key from some magic place, the key worked, and some of the doors/locked were subsequently replaced. They had the audacity to ask me to drop off extra keys after I told them Im going to Lowes to get an extra pair since only ONE key was supplied.
The day we moved in, the neighbors greeted us, and told us a crack dealer used to live across the street, and strangers had been hanging around the back door recently. A couple years later, we found out he lived in THIS house. I guess that's why the few beggars came and knocked on our door to beg for money. They were probably used to picking up crack.
Josephine is really good at her profession. Answers question promptly. Would recommend her to anyone selling or buying a home.
Since move in, it has been a nightmare.
The spread is wide.
The microwave blew up the first day. It smoked. I feared this house was going to go up in flames.
We want to move again, because this house seems to be crumbling around us. The shiplap walls have started to buckle, there is a strong mildew and mold smell every time the HVAC turns on, and it's never below 79 degrees even if the AC has been running for days.
Every agent I encountered during my trips to the office was friendly and helpful. I would recommend Mrs. Julie and KeySouth to anyone in the market for a new home.
It was a quaint, refurbished award winning home.
Caveat emptor!
On the day of move in, the back door was wide open. I should have been suspicious since the day it was shown to us, the agent's key didnt work, and he reached through the doggy door to unlock it, then proceeded to use his fingernail to open the secondary back door to the laundry room.
The second home we are currently renting has become a nightmare, but the nightmare started the day we moved in.
My daughter and I recently had an amazing experience with Lisa Taylor. We were relocating to Thomasville from Charlotte, North Carolina. I was not sure if I was ready to buy a home since I was so new to the area. I decided that it would be best for me to rent at first so that I could become more familiar with the area. Lisa spent hours showing rental properties to my daughter while I was still in Charlotte. She even Facetimed with me on each property so I could experience the showing with them. She also showed us a property that was not being managed by her company. She did not have to do this but felt this was going to be a good fit for us. I highly recommend Lisa and her company.
We worked with Key South when it was still named Remax.
We worked with Julie Bryant and her team when purchasing our home (Thomasville Bed and Breakfast). Their service was stellar. We were living in Fort Worth, Texas at the time. We made one trip to see the house, and then relied on Julie and her team to assist with details of the purchase. I could go on and on with details, but the fact is they were extremely helpful, patient with my questions and requests, and provided exemplary customer service.
The first home we moved into in the Madison Grove community was great, until the owner decided to sell it less than a year later, even though there were half a dozen vacant homes around the community. I hate to pepper this review with conspiracy theories, but I think it was an effort to sell the house to us. We moved, otherwise rent would have gone up 15%.
Otherwise, suck it up and be prepared to pay for flexibility and quality. It's either turds or gold.
One main advantage KeySouth provides is the company box truck. I used the truck free of charge the entire weekend when I moved, which saved me at least a couple hundred dollars.
To get a good rental or buy a home, it's best to make friends in town, and ask around for things that aren't on the market. I've met or heard of many around town that have made deals with friends.
This town is small.
I bought my first home through Mrs. Julie Bryan at KeySouth and my experience couldn't have been better. Mrs. Julie was knowledgeable of the local market and made herself available on short notice numerous times in order to show me various homes.
You can't go wrong with knowledgeable agents who put the customer first and KeySouth does that better than anyone else. Thanks again!
