Great place for a 1 mile walk. Lighted for evening walks. Patrolled by local police foot and vehicle. Very Safe

Fantastic park, and Cherokee lake is very pretty. Unfortunately, the lake is currently drained for improvements, but that won't last forever. There is a nice park for kids and a picnic pavilion.
