Small place, but comfy seats, clean bathrooms and decent spot overall. The one knock: the line moves slowly and can back up beyond the door if you're going to a popular show/time...get there a few minutes early if its a popular movie
This movie theater is the best I have been to in a town like Thomasville. I recomend coming here!
That said, please read the following. This theater has 6 screens, 2 of which have a step-down that is poorly marked. My wife missed the step leaving the theater before the credits were finished and fell breaking her glasses, scraping and bloodying her nose and hurting her stomach. She went into the ladies' room to staunch the bleeding. I asked the lady behind the concession counter to check on my wife as she had been injured and hadn't come right back out. She took my wife paper towels for her nose and returned and reported that my wife would be out in a minute. While waiting, the statement was made by her "this happens all the time". My reply was that placing a small ramp would fix the problem. She said "or better lighting on the step".Then she said "but that's a corporate decision and corporate has decided it isn't worth the cost". Is this the proper approach to this problem?
My wife and I have attended this theater many times and have always been impressed with the courtesy and pleasantness exhibited by the staff.
Nice local theatre! In our old town, we used to drive an hour to go watch a movie because we hated our theatre so much. Now that we live in Thomasville, we love this little theatre. They keep the prices decent (for a theatre anyways) and there is plenty of space. The seating is comfortable and doesn't seem outdated. Sound quality has been good in all of the screens I've been in. I've saw approximately 12 movies there last year, and never had a bad experience!
My husband and myself finally got a chance to go to the movies and ended up sitting in the wrong theater for 30 minutes waiting for the movie to start just to find out it was the wrong movie. The manager was nice enough to let us go back the next day so we could watch the correct movie that we had paid for. Very understanding and nice.
